I am developing and application in .Net 4.0, which will find list of accounts/contact based on the given email address.
Also I need to find our created opportunities in the SAP CRM based on the email address and search criteria.
I have read about the .Net Connector 3.0 and tried to connect the SAP server, I am successfully connect to SAP server but then after I am stuck with which BAPI/RFC function should i use to fetch such data? and in which format SAP will send the data and how to parse it to the .Net objects?
I would be very thankful if someone gives sample code in .Net to fetch the list of opportunities, Contact, Account from SAP CRM?

Iam a mainframe guy from IT industry with more than 8 years of EXP in mainframes. I have decided to move out of mainframes and jump into SAP. Some of my IT friends suggested that I take up SAP BI certification and move on for better opportunities.
Few Questions I have (no better than asking you guys):
>> Is BI a better field for starters like me ?
>> To do a certification in India( for guys like me without a SAP background), the ONLY option for me is to get enrolled in one of the SAP education partners and take up OLT or ILT with certification. All these come in a package and they charge nearly
6000$ (where the certification itself costs just about 500$). Some of my friends suggested that I take up SAP courses in non-authorised SAP education centres(where the fees is just about 400$) and do a certification in Dubai ? Is this even allowed ?
Please suggest.

I'm trying, without any luck, to develop a SAP Query on SQ02 to read DBTABLOG contents, specially the field LOGDATA, which is encrypted and according to other SCN posts,can be decrypted using the FM DBLOG_READ or DBLOG_READ_TABLE.
How can i use these functions? In what part can Can I place them to show the dbtablog with logdata decrypted??

I already did many search related with stock transfer topic in MM. However, I still couldnt get my issue solved. For this senerio, sto between two storage locations within same plant. the po type is UB. when I process with plant 1000, issuing storage 0001, receiving storage 0002. system shoots error: 'no shipping data determined for material ****' , when i process with anther plant like 1200, issuing storage 0001, receiving storage 0002. there is no red error.
why? is there some customization for plant 1000? where should I check? by the way, I dont want to use SD function like get Delivery note generated in my case. any idea will be praized.
I tried to debug in me21n with plant 1000. I set watch point with sy-msgno = 06280(which is the error no.). however, program couldnt find this message. which program or badi should I debug in order to find this algorithm of flow.

Hi,
I'm having the toughest time just getting the Back / Exit / Cancel buttons to work properly. I guess I still do not understand the screen programming that well.
I have a program with a default screen 1000 that gets called upon execution. This screen has several checkboxes and an execution button, and calls another screen 0100.
The problem I have is that the back, exit, and cancel buttons do not respond when 0100 gets called.
The PBO module for 0100 is getting called, but the PAI module does NOT get called if you hit the back, exit, or cancel button when 0100 is displayed. I am guessing the PBO module is called before the PAI module.
At the end of the PBO module, I have the following code:
SET PF-STATUS 'STATUS_0100'.
But this does not seem to activate the back, exit, or cancel buttons.
I have this code in the PAI module, but again, the PAI module for screen 0100 is not getting called when Back, Exit, or Cancel is hit on 0100:
Case sy-ucomm.
when ' BACK' or 'CANC' or 'EXIT'.
leave to screen 0.
endcase.
So when you call another screen, what are the step by step procedures for making sure the back, exit, and cancel buttons can be programmed and will respond to events? I have not been able to figure this out.

I am having an issue with some of our facilities, but not all.
When a user creates a work order, usually the Short Text description is transfered to the first operation (0010 in the operation tab). Some of our facilites however are getting a new window. What ever is filled in the system will create a duplication error. locking the user out.
From what i have read, the transfer of Work Order header short text to operation short text is a standard SAP function. But for some plants it is not transfering.
I was going to create a OSS not, but thoght I would ask here first.
Anyone ever have this problem?

I have configured the basic steps in Recruitment module.
The steps are
Creating Number ranges(Internal),Media, Recruitment Instruments,Personnel Officer,Applicant Groups, Applicant Ranges,Unsolicited Applicant groups,Applicant Selection(Status), Status Reason, Applicant Class,etc
Created one advertisement for the vacant position
Then we run the Applicant Action(PB40) from "Initial Data Entry of Applicant" through "Prepare for Hiring".Also process the new applicant with the subsequent statuses from "In process" to "To be Hired".
After running the action "Prepare for Hiring",we run the T-Code PBA7 to transfer the applicant data to PA. Also, we run the T-Code PBA8 to complete the Applicant activities .But still the applicant data such as Action data ,organization assignment data ,previous employer data, Personal data ,Education and Qualification data from PB30 are not reflecting in the employee master PA30.
Instead ,the personnel number has been triggered automatically without any of that applicant data, in PA30.
Please tell us where have we gone wrong.

I'm not sure where to start, but I cannot deploy a windows app using click once that will include whatever it is crystal reports requires to run. I've taken over this application and don't have a full history on it. Here is some information on our setup and errors:
I can deploy click once and install it on client computer. However, when the application needs to access crystal reports I get an error loading crystal reports runtime. See attached image.
I do not want to upgrade to a runtime that we are not already using in our office.
Any help is appreciated.
