FM to pass data to internal table

Hi,

I am using FM''ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE' to pass excel sheet(/.xlsx format) data into internal table. Do we have any function module available which except .xls and /xlsx both the formats.

i have tried 'text convert xls to sap' but not fruitful.

Could you please suggest here.
